St. Peter's, the Parish and Civic Church, Bournemouth, stands in the heart of this busy seaside resort, a town which welcomes thousands of visitors each year.

Bournemouth is also home to 155,000 residents and an important centre for commerce, education and culture.

St. Peter's Church was completed over one hundred years ago, during the incumbency of the first Vicar of Bournemouth, Revd Alexander Morden-Bennett.

Whilst the building demonstrates the confidence of the Victorian age, St. Peter's Church stands ready to serve the needs of God's people into the 21st Century.

Please use the links to find out more about the Town Centre Ministry of St. Peter's Church, a ministry we share with St. Stephen's Church and St. Augustin's Church.

We hope that you will visit us again soon, either on the Internet or in person.

We look forward to welcoming you.

Reverend Canon Jim Richardson OBE
Team Rector of Bournemouth Town Centre Parish, Vicar of St. Peter's Church and Priest-in-charge of St. Augustin's.
